Nour OS Hermes is a personal tool used only by its owner. This policy explains how it handles Google user data.
With the Google OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file, the app can only create, read, update and move to trash the files and folders it created itself in its owner's Google Drive. It cannot access other Drive files, Gmail, Calendar, Contacts or any other Google service.
The app stores reference video files and a catalogue spreadsheet in folders it created, so its owner can find and manage personal reference material. The catalogue records the source link, platform, uploader, title, duration, file size, date, Drive file ID, analysis status, tags and usage notes for each file.
The app analyses publicly available reference videos at its owner's request. For that analysis, sampled frames and transcripts of a video are sent to the AI provider the owner uses (currently OpenAI). This happens when the video is retrieved from its public source, before it is stored, and does not involve data obtained through the Google Drive API.
The app currently does not send files or data obtained through the Google Drive API to any AI provider. If this changes, it will be limited to analyses the owner explicitly requests, and this policy will be updated first.
OAuth tokens are stored only on the owner's private server, readable only by the dedicated account that runs the app. They are never shared with third parties or published.
Google user data obtained through the Google Drive API is not sold, transferred or disclosed to third parties, is not used for advertising, and is not used to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models. Files remain private to the owner's Google account.
Files stay in the owner's Drive until the owner deletes them; the app only moves files to Drive Trash at the owner's explicit request. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which the app can no longer reach Drive.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
